    Currently, not a good job.

Don't miss my original point. Caribe did not walk in front of HBO cameras and defamed Rigo's character in front of a multitude. Some were very hurt that FOTY 2012 was defeated.

This same "he boring" sentiment is still being echoed. This is attributed to the immediate reaction after the Donaire fight due to the negligence and spite of a promoter with a voice. That's how large of an impact it had.

Actually, I don't share your opinion. Rigondeaux should not change his style. There is my rebuttal.

Didn't Hbo dump Rigo because he is boring?

Professional boxing is Business. If you want to get paid more, then casuals need a reason to watch you. You need to sell yourself either by being an exciting fighter like Pacquio or just being a loud mouth ****. Broner is an example of a **** who gets paid 7 figures.

        Rigo is neither.

Not change, add different approaches. Well, I enjoy watching him too, I guess I'm gonna continue scratching my head when you make the same thread some time soon.

Mares, Santa Cruz, Hampton, all those are avoiding Rigo like ebola! Rigo will destroy them and and expose dudes like SC and Hampton just like he did to Nonito.

Once they feel Rigo's power they will go into a defensive shell, and hide...then casuals and people who dont understand boxing will say that Rigo is boring!!! I LMAO at them. "peeleft:

            You're a Cotto fan. So am I.
Part of what made Cotto an appealing fighter was that he is still willing to go in there and engage in a fight.
Cotto had an outstanding amateur career. The guy could have chosen to only box throughout the years. Especially his years at 140, but he chose not too, because he knew, like many others that you need to entertain to be successful.

Rigo has been told this countless times and still doesn't budge.

SeekDaGreat is a clown. Abusard, asinine post. He wants skilled fighters to give up their advantages so that non-skilled fighters have a chance in the ring.

I bet that fool has never played a sport in his life. What an idiot!

Business or sport first? We've reached new heights when we have more fans of the business than the sport.

Adding different elements to his style would in fact change his style. If it's not broke, don't fix it. As for the repetitive threads, well yeah Rigo is a common subject but I have different approaches.

The problem with Rigo is he's so good he jumps out to these huge leads and then eases off the gas (while generally still winning rounds clearly). So what have generally already been extremely one-sided affairs suddenly become even less action-packed.

Look at after the Donaire fight, people on here were livid because he wouldn't just stand in the middle and let Donaire hit him. I like Rigo and will always watch his fights, but I can understand why some don't enjoy watching him. Same thing with Wlad and Hopkins, I appreciate their styles and enjoy watching their fights but at the same time can understand why some don't.
