    sound reasoning.
Who was stronger than what Chavez would bring at 135? :/..

Chavez had enough defense to take the steam off what Marquez would give with his combinations. Chavez was a killer coming in and didn't mindlessly step in and when he got in range he had great upper body movement and an amazing sense of distance, even as he stepped back he was cagey enough to not get caught with the worst of it. I'm not sure Marquez gets stopped but he'd undoubtedly go down at least once. It'd be a good fight, don't get me wrong but Chavez would deal a lot more damage I feel...and because of the styles, he'd likely win about 8 rounds on te judges with a KD or two tossed in. JMM is a great fighter but Chavez at 135? No. :/

Roidquez vs Chavez coked out his mind sounds fun too

Chavez would win by TKO at lightweight. Juan Diaz and Katsidis put a lot of leather on Marquez at 135, Chavez would put a lot more on him and he'd be doing it for all 12/15 rounds. Chavez had good defense down at lightweight too, he wouldn't be getting hit as much as Diaz and Katsidis did.

What an amazing fight this would be. I think Marquez gives the performance of his life before succumbing to Chavez body work late in 10th or 11th. I think Marquez would have solid rounds and maybe even be up a round on the cards before the stoppage.
