Pacman: Barrera doesn't scare me!

Barrera’s offer came in late. Pacman wants to fight in front of his countryman and make some money in the process. As for the Erik trilogy, he feels that he has obligation to make since Erik invoked his right for the rubber match. As some of you said, it’s all about timing. If Pacman and his management feel that MAB gets the last slot then that’s probably the best thing for them to do right now. I don’t think Pacman is scared of Barrera. On the contrary it was MAB who had been avoiding to rematch Pacman for more than two years. MAB knows very well that Manny’s mind is on the Larios tune-up in July and the Erik rubber match after that. Suddenly he felt the urge to call on Pacman. Isn’t that dubious? I know Pac-MAB is the biggest fight out there, but to a real gentleman like Pacman, fulfilling his contract with Erik and giving back something to his Filipino fans are paramount. Don’t get me wrong, I’d like to see this rematch more than any fight out there, but I support Pacman with his decision. For the mean time, let MAB find another opponent and if he really meant what he said, fight Pacman after the latter has fulfilled his commitments.Originally posted by DiEgO_cHiCo_CoRRaLeSif he's not scared then why isnt he fighting MAB?Comment

Manny Pacquiao yesterday laughed off Marco Antonio Barrera’s offer for a rematch, saying the Mexican world champion is just trying to make some noise after failing to land a big fight since winning the super-featherweight crown two years ago.Originally posted by xcaretSource???????
"I really think it was against his will to say that he’s now ready to fight me. He’s just looking for some attention," said Pacquiao, barely 24 hours after he returned from a vacation in Hong Kong where he spent four days with his family and close friends.
"I really think he’s afraid of me," Pacquiao told a friend.
