I think i`d prefer to see Barrera Vs Pac in a rematch. Yes the Morales' fights were exciting but in terms of significance the barrera/Pac rematch means more at the moment. I respect all opinions on this site but to assume Pac will hammer Barrera again just on the evidence of their first encounter is nut huggy. Barrera deserves a second chance to beat Pac and shouldn`t be written off based on who's the more popular!

yup, and barrera hardly 'know' pacquiao during their encounter. jmm and em already knew pac styles coz of the em-pac fight.

It's no big deal, I just think Barrera picked the right time to say I want to fight Pac. Barrera knows very well that Pac can't fight him at this moment. If Barrera really wanted to fight Pac, he would've done it by now.

i just don't see it or get it, this disdain for barrera. timing is that, chavez got hurt and barrera may THINK he has pac solved, guys, lets get this straight, i don't think theres a boxer out there whos "scared" of any other fighter, timing is EVERYTHING. you guys should be thankful that barrera gave pac the chance at fighting him, he could have well ended up like JMM, odd man out.

that was an ass whooping that he caught at the hands of pac that surprised the ever loving **** out of all of us, give the man some time, he could very possibly make a fight out of it this time.

Even though Barrera was mopped up by Pac.....I would love to see a rematch.
I think Manny will win again, & he may be the guy that totally has Barerra's number...but, MAB is a great fighter....so that alone makes it an always-attractive matchup.

Pacquiao also criticized the quality of opponents Barrera had faced since the loss to him and except for Erik Morales, stating that Barrera fought foes who were either over-rated or down-the-hill.

Since mauling Barrera, Pacquiao has fought high-end fighters such as Erik Morales (twice), Juan Manuel Marquez and Hector Velazquez. Pacquiao wants to make an appearance on local shores in June or July against a foe yet to be named before facing Morales in a rubber match before the year ends although

I agree with the journalist except for Velasquez being high -end.....
