Fair point about JMM-but JMM wasn;t on a different network etcetc.

He isn't serious about fighting Floyd at this point. its all about attaching his name to Floyd.
    Earn what?
He's regarded as the best MW in the world, he's on many people's top 20 p4p list. He's a rising star who sells out arenas, and gets great HBO ratings.

But according to you he has to go down to 154 and earn his place to fight Mayweather by fighting pointless fights?

Did Cotto fight at 160 first to earn a shot at Martinez?
Did Marquez fight at 147 first to earn a shot at Mayweather?
Did Mayweather himself have to fight at 154 first to earn a shot at DLH?

Why is it that when it comes to Dangerous fight for Mayweather, you guys always have to put up these parameters that are required of no one else?

    Earn the shot? GTFOH!!

yeh you said he has to earn it at 154, i think being one of the best fighters in the world means he has earned the right to challenge anybody he wants. i dont expect mayweather to take the fight, i mean he hasnt even earned the right to call himself the best welterweight in the world.

im not interested in networks and any other BS politics, im interested in seeing top fights, and you ask any fan out there what they would rather see- floyd vs maidana or floyd vs ggg. im not interested in excuses, just good fights.

In all seriousness, don't go out begging Cotto or Canelo. Take short money, go to England and fight Froch. Big fight, credible top 10 p4p opponent, huge crowd, very winnable, and doesn't hurt his status at MW.

win this fight he eliminates any criticism anyone has of him, expands his brand and name, and puts him in position to force Ward in the ring on GGG's terms. giving him a better chance to win.
lmao are you the "paul heyman" of BS? lol

Dude when it comes to Mayweather in dangerous fights, big dunn and the rest of the Mayweather pack will always put up lame excuses as to why the fights we want to see shouldn't be made.

              For Pacquiao

-In order to fight Pacquiao, Pacquiao has to leave his promoter.
But Maidana, Ortiz, Guerrero, Canelo and others got to keep their promoters.

-In order to fight Pac, Pac has to take care of his Marquez issues.
But Maidana didn't have to take care of Alexander issues, Ortiz didn't have to take care of Maidana issues. etc. etc.

              Now GGG

-GGG needs to earn it by fighting at 154.
Even though he's regarded as the best 160, he needs to prove himself at 154???
-GGG is all hype, easy work for Mayweather so the fight shouldn't even take place.

Yet somehow you guys see something that these professionals aren't seeing. And a lot of them-while obviously talk about his power-refer to his subtle technical abilities that he shows in the ring. You guys think he's some robotic plodder but that isn't the case, at least to me. Matthyssee never got the praise that GGG gets from fellow boxers, not internet fanboys. So the two comparisons aren't the same.

is HBO going to let him out of his deal? are his people going to let him really go to 154 at this point in his career? no, so stop acting like this is real.

If you do think its real and If he wants the fight as bad as he claims, earn it. I didn't say Floyd shouldn't fight him. I said GGG(see later posts) can earn the fight by beating a good JMW.

Know, I said if he really wants it, drop down and earn it. stop pretending he wants it. If Floyd hasn't earned that then there is no way GGG has earned the Floyd fight at 154.

If you want to see the best fights and Floyd isn't the best ww, then why do you want to see Floyd v ggg?

Thats a misconception. He has never "sold out" msg and his recent fight with rubio, it was sold out due to mostley donaire. How about they stick him with a crappy undercard and see how he does by his lonesum.
