Nathan Cleverly admits Tony Bellew has greater punching power, but insists his speed will be crucial in next month’s rematch.

The Welshman is preparing for his cruiserweight showdown with Bellew at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on November 22, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

There has been a heated war of words in the build-up to the fight, with the Liverpudlian vowing to halt his rival in the return bout after losing on points against the Cefn Forest man in 2011.

Both boxers have racked up 14 stoppage wins, but Bellew, a former amateur heavyweight, is the naturally bigger man.

Cleverly and Bellew both terrible

Cleverly and Bellew are class C fighters who Kovalev and Stevenson both showed via violent KO do not belong in boxing. Cleverly looks like a scarecrow and bellew has a toothpick neck. both skinny and frail and not very good.

this kid needs a decent coach cause he should be beating bellew but whats his chin like, kovalev is the only puncher he's fought, he's a product of warren padding his resume out.

Bellew looks much better at cruiser-weight than he ever did as a light-heavy, the problem is though that the gap between LHW and CW is a big one. He regularly came in at 175 looking anaemic and fought at heavyweight as an amateur - which is nearly identical to the cruiser-weight limit as a professional.
