Floyd made it look easy and absolutely outclassed him. I've never seen such a clinic at that weight.
Great win for FMJ. Arguably his best, but watching boxing for over 30 years there are better fights and 'clinics'. Lastly, no, FMJ that beat Diego is not untouchable below 147.

I'd love to see Floyd V Duran in their primes at this weight.

Yeah you have to go with Duran. 135 Floyd wasn't as dynamic as 130 Floyd. And I think the fight would have to be at lightweight. I think we see Floyd show his fighter's heart but he loses a clear decision in a tough, game matchup that earns both kudos a la Holyfield-Bowe I.

I always think Floyd beats duran because of his reach. duran's prime losses were all to right hand dominant fighters with a longer reach. The only way to deal with that duran is to be able to fight from a distance and to be able to box and move, unless of course you are Hearns.

But you are right it wouldn't be easy and it would uplift both fighters.

Of course, is it 12rds or 15?

Both those guys have ridiculous stamina so I don't know man lol. 12 or 15 it would be an insane style matchup. Duran had quick hands in close quarters and was slippery himself. And really worked the body well. World class chin and knew how to cut off the ring. Mayweather's reach is probably his most underrated attribute but I can't imagine him keeping Duran off of him for twelve rounds or 15. And he'd eat a few lead and counter rights from a distance that would probably slow him down a bit.

Yeah, at some point he'd have to stand and fight and that would be extremely difficult. But man if he could get the jab working early and frustrate Duran and win the early rounds I'm thinking Taylor V Chavez type fight.

I'm drawing a blank right now, duran ever fight anyone who used the style/shell like Floyd?
