Why do 3 of the options comprise 2 decades each, 1 is only 1 decade and the last is only 1/2 a decade?

1980s to 1990s by a mile. Never has there been so many scary, powerful and dangerous heavyweight hard hitters. At any time you felt that either guy can become a champ due to their power.

It's between the late 60s-70s or the 90s.

Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Liston and so on couldn't hold a candle to the big monsters of today such as Andy Ruiz Jr, the slick Manuel Charr, Alex Leapai (only the fighter Iron Mike Tyson could of been), the giant steel chinned David Price, fleet-footed Christian Hammer and the supremely conditioned Chris Arreola. Its evident to anyone without extreme bias that heavyweights have evolved. They are bigger, stronger, faster all thanks for modern day supplementation and training methods.
Yep, they gas in 4 rounds because they're in such good condition, they fit 15 rounds of fighting in those 4 rounds. Bums like Norton and Holmes would have gassed in a round fighting like they do!

there were some huge hitters in that era but as far as talent and depth the 60-70's was the best imo

in truth, it's impossible to count that many people without the internet.
