Everybody is scared of Golovkin, he is the new Mike Tyson of boxing; as HBO put it, a reign of terror. I think one of them will be forced into the fight and whoever it is will pay hard for everyone's ducking.
the only fight that will be forced is ward vs ggg when none of them will fight and ggg will be defeated

Let me ask you this, who else would of made quick work of Sergio that night?? Quillin, Lemieux, Chavez Jr? Any decent middleweight woulda destroyed Maravilla that night. Cotto won by default. Maybe you should focus on Sergio more when you re-watch the fight then on an MRI sheet you found on the internet smart guy. All that proves is that the wasn't the ligament wasn't "broken".

Dude your a closet Cotto fan, its ok, dont hide it. Obviously we're gonna disagree about why the fight played out the way it did. You believe it was Sergios past opponents that had him "unprepared" for Cottos style which is fair but kinda irrelevant. Is it reasonable to say Trout never faced a guy like Cotto? He was a southpaw just like Sergio and gave Cotto a boxing clinic. Your homerism is beyond reasoning. Get back to me when Canelo or GGG put a beating on your boy. Then again Cotto might cherry pick his way to good ole K9.
My man why dont you look up what an MRI is and does, an MRI is the most revealing test of any and can show swelling, redness ligaments veins, even bruised muscle. #1 Martinez has always had a lazy jab and his jab looked better then usual as it was the only punch he could land with regularity in the fight. Martinez is and has always been an off balanced fighter, and the positioning of Cotto's body and lead foot is why Martinez had trouble throwing a power punch, because he had to bring his power across his body, and he was already off balanced. Martinez was never a power puncher any way, with the exception of Paul Williams, Martinez's knock out were accumulative and usually occurred in the second half of the fight. I had Cotto loosing to both Trout and Mayweather so your accused "homerism" is bullschit and doesnt change the FACTS that what you have is an opinion. The fighter (who has always admitted his injuries after fights) says he was ok, the doctors say he was ok, and tests prove he was ok.

bet 30k that Cotto beats Canelo?

lol, dont dodge my question. Do you think that Sergio woulda beat any top middleweights that night? And do you honestly think he had his full physical capabilities that night? If Sergios knee werent in question why is he having tests done again to see if hes in condition to fight again?

Please do me a favor and have 3 knee surgeries and go fight for 3 rounds at least and tell me how that goes for you. The FACT of the matter is that he fought on a surgically repaired knee that night and was punished for doing so.
It is also your OPINION, that Cottos body positioning made it hard for Sergio to throw a power punch lol, outta here bro...

My opinion on what made it hard is fine but your still dancing around the facts of the knee issues. And thats the REALITY. Martinez is an Athlete who paid good money and worked out and recovered in conditions that normal people seldom have, so yes it is possible for a person who has the money to come back from surgery and compete at an elite level, It is evidenced through out every professional sport. And it doesn't Matter whether Martinez would have lost to anybody else because Cotto was the under dog and was expected to lose even if Martinez was not fully recovered. Martinez fought Murray actually having the injuries and Murray couldn't do it. Martinez fought on a bum knee and broken hand on that day and Murray did not do to Martinez what Cotto did.

any way lets bet Cotto over Canelo?

Your hilarious dude. He even stated himself he was scared he was never able to walk again much less compete at an "elite" level. That alone should tell you the extent of his injuries but your homerism blinds you from even that. Cottos success these past 2 fights have been from good matchmaking and a calculated risk that paid of bigtime. Yuris knees, Margs eyes, and now Sergios knees, lol that cant be a coincidence. I'll take Canelo, Cotto hasn't proven doodoo. And yes it is relevant, Sergio wouldnt of beat any ranked middleweight that night much less Cotto. Cotto being an underdog has nothing to do with the issue.

It's fine to fight a shop worn Martinez, take his belt (which Golovkin was pretty much in line for and deserved 10x more) then duck the number 1 middleweight who wants a unification fight to prove he's the true lineal champion?

Absolute ******s, if Cotto doesn't fight GGG he should vacate asap or it's nothing but a duck
Do you not know that Cotto went to MW for history and not to make a living?
