Ruslan should show more class than this and demand another opponent. there is an endless supply of bums to choose from, no need to fight a shot to pieces Castillo. If you want to give the guy some money bring him in for sparring, don't humiliate him and possibly severely hurt the man.

not a good fight for provodnikov,he could have picked a younger guy,keep looking if it's true that others didn't want to face him,but can we blame Castillo?..he's probably getting paid good,for those who say he's risking his health,i don't think so,he's been in this sport a long time,although not right but i'm sure he knows what to do,as soon as he starts getting hit and realizes he won't win he'll just stay down like Rubio and collect that paycheck,and that's messed up because these things can be avoided by not fighting guys that bring nothing anymore like castillo

Bull**** fight. JLC doesn't even look fit for a untested prospect, let alone a supposed elite fighter. There are so many top 50 WW's they could've chose from it's ridiculous. They just wanted to take a former big name and use it as a sacrifice to try and pump up Ruslan's name. Very poor form from team Provodnikov and they should be embarrassed. I have zero interest in watching this and appalled that it'll even happen.

I don't believe they offered anyone a decent amount of money to fight Provo. What 100k? Six figures sounds nice but once you find out in $100,000 in rubles it's basically peanuts.

Honestly ruslan is ok. Nothin special I've always felt like he's lucas 2.0 and vastly overated. They can be outboxed without question

I love Ruslan but in no way shape or form can I support this fight. This might be the first time I actually boycott a fight, not that I think it'll make any kind of difference, just I don't think I could comfortably watch this fight. Heck I remember feeling it was a shame Castillo was stilling fighting when he was getting beat up by Alfonso Gomez, and that was like four years ago.
