Shane is one of my all time favs....I picked him to KO Floyd....after that fight I realized Floyd was better than I gave him credit for....fight wasn't fixed imo.....Shane went ham when he hurt Floyd and probably threw more than he wanted to....Floyd survived adapted and put on a clinic....it is what it is

Exactly. When Floyd retires he will never be talked about again. Or remembered. Ive been to the boxing Hall of Fame. Ive never seen in there how much money someone has made. Nor do fighters with a Coward reputation get any remembrance either. He has no legacy to awe over or remember. Unless you remember that sucker punch on Ortiz. Or the sucker punch on Gatti. Or that great win on Baldomir. It funny on the world wide web if you google the words Coward and Boxing Floyds face pops up everywhere. lol Sad! Hopefully he will retire soon!

Shane was hurt in the Pac fight

For the record people, in the Mosley-Pac fight Shane's foot had a huge gash in it from that knockdown. It was from a huge blister that he had on his foot before the fight. Up until the final rounds he wanted to throw in the towel from the pain but ****m wouldn't do it. Go watch the post fight interviews in the dressing room and you can see his foot

Mosley-Mayweather I never understood I mean he hurt him in the 2nd round and then let Floyd completely takeover the pace. The story of the night was Shane Floyd getting off first and dominating Mosley. I doubt it was a fix but Shane certainly gave up just like he did with Pac. Why he gave up idk

Well said! Well said indeed. Me thinks Mosley had the speed and power to do a few things but wasn't the supreme talent some overrate him to have been.

Regarding later Shane...Like a lot of guys just didn't have the stamina to fight at a pace that a young shane could fight at. Without the wisdom to know that one is left with the basic spaz Judah strategy....more of less, ergo: do what you can then walk through the rest of the fight. mayweather knew this would happen when he pressured Shane later down the stretch.
