40 year old Mosley had no choice but to go all out in those first few rounds, he knew after that he wouldn't have the legs to keep up with Floyd's pace.
Floyd didn't really wrap up at all. In fact, he came forward and began digging to Mosley's body. He also landed a short, sharp left hook on the inside that backed Mosley off. By the end of the second it was Mayweather who was the aggressor.

That's the real version of what happened. The post you responded to was the typical revisionist history. It's funny how some people pretend that Mosley had to chase Mayweather around the ring which couldn't be further from the truth.

They have to revise because it suits their "Mosley gassed because he was 50 when he fought Mayweather" agenda. I was, however, impressed at how Shane became a young man again when he faced Pacquiao.

I was talking about immediately following the second flush shot. Floyd grabbed a hold of Mosley's arm and held on for a bit. Shane was trying to push him off once he realized he was hurt. Yes Floyd did recover by the end of the round. You all are a very sensitive bunch.

Yeah, for all of 10-15 seconds. There was a whole minute after that where he came forward. LOL @ sensitive. You mean factual?

That actually speaks to the boxing IQ of Mayweather, though. I mean, here's a guy that NEVER gets rocked to that degree, and the very second it happens, he knew exactly what to do. He wrapped that arm up, collected himself, and went back to beating Mosley's ass.

People like to say "Floyd was almost KO'd" when in reality, he controlled the situation, even while hurt.

I agree and never insinuated anything to the contrary. I was responding to the OP saying he thought the fight was fixed because Mosley didn't get to him after that.

If Mosley was young or more prime, he had no issues following up with his punches, but when see Mosley do this also Vs Pacquiao and Cotto, the only reason why he put his punches together so good against Margarito is because he's slower than hell.

thats not what happened at all. i hate when people tell half stories. floyd was tje champ at 130 and hbo was trying to get him to fight corrales or casa. floyd wanted more money. had nothing to do with anything but money. people forget it was corrales who was the boogey man back then not casa. so floyd sat out because of the dispute for about a year. came back, beat emmanuel augustus after things were settled and went on to the corrales fight. meanwhile casamayor lost a close decision to frietas.
