yeah Mosley & cotto weren't past their primes, JMM wasn't brought up 2 weight classes, Canelo wasn't drained, Guerrero & Ortiz weren't overrated bums that proved to be farces, Maidana hadn't already been completely schooled.
news flash.....Mayweather has been past prime since his return in 2009 he was 32

Their is no argument...Guerrero and Ortiz earned their spot by beating ranked contenders.....JMM is a great fighter and not the first to go up 1-2 weight classes to face a fellow great...Armstrong was champ at 126 and fought for the championship at 147...Ketchel fought jack Johnson....Joe Louis fought 170 pound Billy Conn....lightweights have been moving up fighting welterweights for years.... Ike Williams fighting Kid Gavilan, Joe Gans fought for the welterweight title....so did Benny Leonard...Napoles was champ at 147 and jumped up to fight Monzon at 160.learn your history

Yea Canelo was dying losing one extra pound from his previous fight lol

Mayweather is in his 4th and 5th weight class....he can fight people moving up just like he has himself.

answer these questions....did Baldomir win the welterweight championship?

Does he hold a win over Joshua Clottey?

you know the answers...my opinion don't count, nor does yours because they cant change facts and that's what some of you trolls fail to realize.

        NY Yankees
        LeBron James
        Floyd Mayweather Jr
        etc.

They get the most hate of their respective sport, and look at what they have in common. It comes with the territory.

You are still doing it. He gets it, you don't want to get it because if you do, it destroys everything you said!

I think the 'hate' mostly has to do with

            a, he never fought Pacquiao

            b, his persona

c, he is obviously unintelligent except when inside a boxing ring

d, jealousy that he is friggin rich (rich coward)

            e, he beats up women

f, he thinks he is the best ever, when he obviously isn't.

            maybe other factors, not sure.

He avoided the best 140-147lber of his era in Pacquiao. Also, ATG's like Roberto Duran, he moved up to 160lbs to challenge Hagler for the 160lbs title.

We all know a fight against Golovkin will never, ever happen. We know it's impossible "But he's 2 weight classes above Floyd, y'all know don't anythang." Say that to Duran 'fore he fought The Marvelous One.
