Mainly because he ducked the rematch! just the truth, wasnt confident enough to take on Maidana again and make it clear who really was and is the Winner.

I would have been happy with a rematch, the first fight was great.

Marcos Maidana, the reason mostly because he has a glass jaw and was supposed to be "exposed" as a fraud. Khan not only beat him the "first" time it was in the gloves of HIS choice. Maidana was no green prospect either and had the GGG boogeyman status at the time, let's not forget that either.

Lol, Khan doesn't owe Chino a damn thing. He beat him and did it soundly and went on to unify the titles. What exactly did Maidana bring in the rematch? Nothing....besides Excitement for the fans and really who cares about that. The hot air balloon of Maidana being this ruthless killer also had holes poked in it.

Speaking of ducks Maidana ducked Thurman because he had TOO MANY KOs.
