C'mon guys; Pac-Morales II was one of the most anticipated fights to make, so they went ahead with it. Arum was in the ring saying it was going to happen anyway moments after Morales lost. No one ducked anyone, the money was too big no not go ahead with it, I mean the purses for their fight had already been agreed on.
Just like Mayweather-Judah; Baldomir upset Judah, but Floyd still fought Judah next because that was the fight. Floyd fought Calos after that, and Raheem would have very very very likely got Pacquiao after Pac beat Morales, but Raheem lost his very next fight and then moved to my city (Tulsa) and began fighting on bull**** little cards at the Million Dollar Elm Casino.
From ESPN following Raheem's Upset Over Morales
Despite Raheem's upset decision over Morales, Arum claims his original plan stands. Morales and Pacquiao still will fight Jan. 21 and make $1.75 million apiece.
"This does not affect the January 21 fight," Arum said. "We're going ahead with it."
Arum is the promoter for Morales and Raheem, so why not let Raheem fight Pacquiao instead? Because Arum thinks there's more money to be made from a Morales-Pacquiao rematch.
Morales won the first fight, and Arum suspects his loss to Raheem will stoke interest among Pacquiao fans from the Philippines.
"This time the Filipinos will probably be even bullish with Pacquiao's chances. The Filipinos will be betting more money on Manny," Arum said.Comment

Lol just checked out his record anticipating he'd have over 10 losses by now, I see he is 35-3
Last loss was a dangerous Ali Funeka back in 2008.
Not a bad pro career at all. Many would kill for a 35-3 record and to claim a win over an ATG is icing on the cake.Comment
