What ever became of Zahir Raheem?

He fought in January 2014, for the vacant WBO NABO light welterweight title.
He won. Then never fought again.

Everyone forgot about him, but never forgot his war with Morales im sure

Maybe his suprise return will be Danny Garcias next opponent.

It'sweird he kinda came out of no where and signed with this small time promoter in my home state of Washington. He fought like 4 or 5 ttimes in Tacoma, had that one televised event which everyone complained how boringhe was and hhasn't fought since. I'm guessing he got injured.

He runs a gym and is in there most of the time, working hard. As of 2013, he still had world title ambitions, but which fighter doesn't I guess. Seems in a good place mentally anyway. Not sure why the big lay-off since January.

You joke about it but it wouldn't surprise me if that happened

Raheem was a one trick pony, Flash in the pan. He got lucky and beat an unmotivated morales by spoiling and crap after.

Find whatever peace you can in whatever excuse you want to make....i will simply stick to the facts of what actually happened...he kicked Morales's ass and Manny still fought Morales...He wanted revenge and it was a bigger fight so oh well...just speaking the truth
