I know who I expect to get the decision in every fight I watch pretty much, because lots of unexpected stuff also happens.

Now as for the actual fight it was kind of meh but it was decent same as the Korobov fight. So while neither is really any great loss to his career it is starting to make him look bad, but that can all be fixed with good performances in the ring which he is capable of. He is kind of in a weird career spot but he should be focused on building his name, not fighting is not doing that but he still has time.Last edited by The Gambler1981; 10-25-2014, 11:00 AM.Comment

It sure looks like one. First it was the fight against Korobov on an HBO date, then he decides no I will stay at jr middleweight and go to where all the jr middles are, and then comes back full circle, but with no fight lined up.
The guy is either paranoid or does not have true confidence in himselfComment

In boxing generally speaking you do have to do 5 years of hard work to become an overnight success and Andrade maybe needs 2 solid years of work to hope for any super big fights. He could get lucky but that would likely happen one way or the other so best to put in the work and force the break eventually rather than waiting around on it.Comment

That is not a Haymon thing it is a boxing thing, you never expect a guy to get the benefit of the doubt on the other fights "home turf". It is part of where having to beat the champion comes from, because you do literally have to beat the champion historically on their "home turf" where you aren't getting close calls. You can call it rigged but that is part of the appeal of toppling a real champion because you had to beat them at their game really.
I know who I expect to get the decision in every fight I watch pretty much, because lots of unexpected stuff also happens.
It would be Andrade to has to go above and beyond to have a shot at a draw. I'm glad he sees through this because I would hate to see politics derail his career. If Charlo wants the title shot beat somebody in the top 10 and come over to the east coast to get that work.Comment

And in this case, Andrade is the champ and would be on an all Haymon card, on the west coast against one of Al's young up and comers. And Charlo would get the higher purse probably since Haymon takes care of his guys.

That is probably the messed up part Charlo was probably getting comparable money, when in this situation a champion should make a killing.Comment

It happens with other champs they just normally get paid huge for taking a big risk of losing their belt.Comment
