Keep fighting Roy. **** everyone that tells you not to. Majority of these folks on here have never been in a ring including me. But I would love to do the thing I love most for a living as long as I could. So **** everyone that tells you to stop. Keep the dream alive. Stay healthy do what you love. Ignore the hate.

If he's going to fight F-level caliber competition, I really don't have see a problem with it. He's not slurring his words or anything in fact he's actually improving as a color commentator.

When he bends logic to suit his delusion like this he sounds like an addict. He's fighting these guys as a precursor to getting the kind of opposition that are capable of doing him real harm. That isn't something that should be encouraged.

What we know about boxing induced brain disease is that it can often be accumulative and degenerative. It doesn't necessarily show up straight away. The first signs often appear long after retirement and then progressively get worse.

He may not see it like this but he's not showing the sport the respect it deserves. A little like a fire fighter who's own hubris effects him factoring in how dangerous fire can actually be.

When he gets burnt it's Roy that's going to have to live with the daily consequences. There are plenty of fans who encouraged George Best to get heavy on the drink when they saw him about town. They didn't have to deal with the effects.

It's very easy to be brave from the comfort of our armchairs with somebody else's health. Roy's a fighter with an inordinate amount of pride, sometimes fighters like that need protecting from themselves. I can't help but think that HBO employed him partly in the hope he'd hand 'em up.

The fact that he hasn't is down to him, but as fans I don't think we should encourage his folly.

Nope. Roy has been excellent since returning.
