Don't get ya hopes up until it's signed, Bob might try to let it 'marinate' like he did with Gamboa vs Lopez.

yeah that was a disaster wasn't it?
but in this instance i think it may be too much too soon for Lomachenko, based on his struggles with Salido. The vicious body attack is not something he encountered much in the amateurs and that's why he lost the fight. Rest assured if Loma fights Walters, the Axe Man is going downstairs to the body just as he did against Donaire. Maybe one or two more fights before he's ready to tango with Walters to get him accustomed to the punches to the midsection.

Yeah Loma really was uncomfortable with Salido's aggression. I don't think Walters would be quite as aggressive but at the same time he has a much better jab than Salido and Loma's last fight he looked good against a 5 ft 4 midget with 61 inch reach... to then fight 5 ft 7 Walters with a 73 inch reach two fights later would be an extraordinary turnaround.

That said if anyone can do it, Loma can.

All good points... Russel was quick but didn't have the reach so he could properly utilize it... Walters is quick and has the reach and real power... If Loma beats Walters it would be quite extraordinary but Loma has proved that he is just that... Skillz will be the real deciding factor in this fight... I pray Bob isn't just blowing smoke up our ass and intends to really put this together... 2015 will be one hell of a year for boxing if all these dream
matchups can actually come to fruition.

This fight will also prove how big of a chin Loma has and to a certain extent Walters too, because Loma has shown he has some power too.

That would set up a super fight the end of next year.
exactly this, i just cringe at this fight happening right now

it will be awesome once loma has built himself a resume though
