loma had a tough time with Salido. He would struggle with a much stronger in his prime fighter in Walters.

    Walters beats him down.

Walters deserves to solidify his name against high profile opponents and Loma needs to build his resume some despite his amateur accomplishments. I'd rather see Walters unify vs Jhonny and than take on Mares. Let Loma build his professional record up some against guys like Cuellar, Sonsona, Vetyeka than unify vs Gradovich. That would set up a super fight the end of next year.

i must correct your the most imporant part of lomos game is footwork..diving in about ever 30 seconds..there was not exciting about his fight with russel except that he had more power that that bum beater..he is very defensive just like rigo..i think u might be showing some bias and i think the rest of the world soon will as well

Walters is the WBA CHAMPION, not WBC. Great fight.

I think Walters stops him within eight. Thus far, Lomachenko has not displayed any real punching power at the 126 lb division, that could seriously threaten the Axeman. He can attempt to box him off the back foot but inevitably he is going to have to trade punches with the much stronger and harder puncher in Nicholas because Vasyl fights better when he is leading and fighting off the front foot which could be very well result in his own undoing.

Walters is not a physical, dirty inside fighter like Salido. He's a more polished boxer-puncher who can also brawl, but that's not his primary style.

Loma should out-box him comfortably. But i would like to see this fight after Loma or Walter both had unified with Gradovich and Gonzales. That would be DA BOMB.

Waters/Gonzales would work best next if the politics could be sorted!

Instant classic. When people reflect on this era years down the road this fight will be mentioned.
