It was a bull**** stoppage, but the point is you can cherry pick any fighter and make him look like a "bum." To many boxing "fans" seem to forget this...

The reality is no one thought Maidana should fight Floyd after that performance against Lopez (and he also didn't look that good against Soto Karass)....I thought his time fighting elite guys was basically over after he struggled with Lopez, but then he beat Broner and that opened up his career.

Overrated? It seems like everyone openly mocks him and compares him to Rod Salka even though he has legitimate wins over legitimate fighters on the basis that he doesn't "look tough".

I've read quite a few comments about how he would school Danny, Matthysse, etc. I haven't seen too many people mocking him but I'm not very active on NSB so you may be right. I guess we'll learn more about him when he fights the other top light welterweights.

I think I had 4 or 5 rounds for Prov. Plus the KD's. No way in hell he should have lost his title in that decision.

I wouldn't say flat-out robbery, but def a weak ass decision. If that was Floyd in there he would have gotten the nod. Same performance, hypothetically speaking.

Provodnikov knocked Algieri down twice in the first round and beat easily in the remanding rounds.

He left Algieri with ever lasting eye damage aswell. Provodnikov was robbed imo.
