Comments Thread For: Arum: Pacquiao Will Fight In Macau (At Least) Once A Year

As long as Manny Pacquiao remains a relevant fighter, you can expect the iconic Filipino to make an annual trek to Macau, China.

The reigning two-time welterweight titlist will head back to Asia—and in fact is deep into training camp in General Santos, Philippines—for his upcoming Nov. 22 showdown with unbeaten Chris Algieri. The bout, which will headline live on HBO Pay-Per-View, marks Pacquiao’s second trip to Macau in the span of three fights, making his debut at the resort destination last November.

Zhou's not going to be around for long I imagine, he's 33 at flyweight that's old for that weight class. Isn't there a Chinese heavyweight they can put on that card?

Super lame. No disrespect to Macau but I don't get the big event feeling when events are hosted there. It feels second rate, IDK. I love fights in the great America... Las Vegas, New York, Dallas. Plus, it's weird as hell fighting in the middle of the day lol. Hell naw.

I feel the American market for Arum is becoming irrelevant.

And so are your views on the matter. Despite that though, I have to agree with Arum here... the Chinese market is so much more lucrative.
