      Wlad
      Bradley

      Froch
      Canelo

My criteria was hypothetically H2H in fights against guys in and around the division, career achievements, skill, recent form, opposition faced and titles.

For all you Americans, no Ward isn't on mine cos I can't even remember the last time I saw him fight.

      Honourable mentions go to:
      Canelo
      GGG
      Uchiyama
      Hopkins
      Stevenson
      Kovalev
      D Garcia
Woah, wait a second, you have Bradley at #2 coming off a loss but not Manny the man who beat him? I don't understand that at all.

Who are you to talk you put canelo at two, which is absolutely laughable.

Had to at this one ... but here goes ......................

Wlad has been Champion for 9+ years and undefeated in 10 years. In spite of the talent level presently active in the heavy-weight division, Wlad has beat all comers.

Almost forgot part two: Ward is still the undefeated super six tournament winner and current Champion.

GGG is nowhere near the convo

              Is he talented? Damn right

Is he proven on the top, elite level? Not yet

              Therefore he does not belong.

There are too many people with comparable talents and better resumes for him to break the top 5 let alone even the top ten.

Mayweather, Klitschko, Danny Garcia, Canelo, Roman Gonzalez, Andre Ward, Froch, Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Rigondeaux are all more proven on the elite level...he is not

When those guys fought his level of opposition they look awesome as well.

Gotta proof your worth in the ring to be considered a top 5 fighter in the sport

                Mayweather
                Pac
                Rigo
                Ward
                Wlad

                In about that order

Although i can see Bradley in the top 5 in place of Wlad based on quality of opposition faced and beaten.

Canelo & Froch are on the fringes of the top 5.

And GGG doesn't even deserve to be in the discussion as of right now. He's not even top 10 in my book.

He has been champion of the worst heavyweight division. Flat out dark ages. He fought nobody, and the two times he was touched, he got knocked out.
