I think Devon might be getting punch drunk. Race has nothing to do with it. It's all about putting butts in the seats and selling PPV's. The only Black fighter at WW that's a worthy opponent is Thurman. The down side is Thurman is not popular enough yet to get the fight.

What about Kell Brook. He deserves it more than Maidana and Guerrero. Even SHawn Porter would still be a good one to throw in there.

this statement is somewhat true and not true. because besides mosley, who can floyd fight that is an african american that will draw right now? most AA fighters right now doesnt have a strong following.

He didn't say AA, he said black. SO we can throw in Kell Brook and even Erislandy Lara. There are plenty of bodies for FLoyd.

Floyd knows where the money is, and that's with the latin fanbase. There's currently no black fighter whom Floyd can fight in his division aside "maybe" Bradley who he can do decent#'s with.

Those are all young athletic black fighters, equally as credible as opponent as Maidana. If not more so.
