Why aren't Ward fans calling for him to move up?

GGG's camp are the ones who mentioned fighting anyone from 154 to 168. It's their own fault that people are talking about Ward.
GGG is too small for Ward. Period.
Chavez lacks character and skills and yes, GGG would like to pick up some serious money knocking out Jr. Golovkin only has a couple peak years left.
His team should keep quiet about other weight classes and stay focused on dominating 160 and not talk about 168.Comment

Razor what? Is this post 2 years old? The LHW division is arguably the hottest and most loaded division in boxing right now. There are numerous opponents for Ward at 175.And fight who??
You guys are ignoring that 175 is a razor thin division that's almost cleaned itself out. Andre already beat Chad Dawson out of boxing and Hopkins won't fight him. Stevenson is on Showtime looking for dead bodies to fight. That leaves Kovalev if he somehow beats Popkins, and after that? Nothin.Comment

A year or so ago yea it was really thin. I think there's potential in there right now with the Eastern Euro up and comers. Bieber is moving faster than the others right now.
The three biggest names though in the division... they're bigger than they were last year.
Unfortunately, I think only Kovalev could appease his contract minimum w/o having to go PPV.... and even that's a stretch now, especially if he winsComment

Ward said he'd move up 3 years ago... so do we just forget about these things as time passes by?GGG's camp are the ones who mentioned fighting anyone from 154 to 168. It's their own fault that people are talking about Ward.

Theyre not the A side yet, though his drawing power may have. His career high is 900k, less than half what Ward made for his last tuneup.Comment

No point in talking about where Ward will or won't go, he's fought once in 2 years and shows no sign of fighting again anytime soon.
So it's less 'why not move up?' and more, why not just fight someone?Comment
