    He didn't.

But he did say he would go to 160.

Cotto's the lineal Champion at 160 so Cotto should fight Ward shouldn't he?

      Which is it, GGG sluts?
Going from how GGG was documented on being very close to 160 well before the weigh in with Rubio, it shows that there is a strong case that he could make 154. Even though he looks like he's filling out even more, dude is getting thick.

Adonis Stevenen has proved to be a PUNK and Ward would beat the brakes off that funny lookin cat anyway.

Ward literally has NO COMP. He’s so good that anyone he fights is basically considered a mismatch. It would take a CATCHWEIGHT against Mayweather for ppl to actually give an Andre Ward opponent a chance.

I understand why GGG wants to move down. It makes sense. However, his fans want to act like Andre Ward is some type of no name bum. Please. Andre Ward vs GGG is a mismatch in SKILL. I just wish GGG fans would face that, admit it and move on to the lesser threats like Cotto and Canelo.
Ward should have got at Kovalev before Hopkins did. And what if Hopkins gets KO by Kovalev?? Think it will be good enough to lure Ward out of retirement and up to 175???

Moving down is harder than moving up, haven't you heard? Remember Floyd saying Cotto is undefeated cause Pac destroyed him at a catchweight?

If you can make 154 for the weighin, you're a JMW. Iole states he was only 161 Monday 5 days before the fight. That's lighter than most SWWs

GGG has expressed more desire to go down and fight Floyd than Ward has in regard to a fight with Cotto. It's not realistic IMO. The other is. And if Floyd doesn't fight him, I won't say he's duckingl him. The only guy Floyd ducked was PAC. And Margarito back then but he ended up being a cheating phony. Smart duck by Floyd. Lol

He's certainly expressed more desire but the fact remains that Ward has expressed that he would move down to 160.

But of course it's not realistic. Neither is the other one.

But I agree that neither would be a duck but I would say that's obvious considered naturally both are 2 weight classes apart.

Doubt it considering he was 173 on the unofficial weigh in.

And he hasn't been that low in over a decade so there's nothing at all to suggest he can make that weight.
