Froch clarifies the above lol: "It was tongue in cheek back then. I was being a bit cheeky and you can take those comments with a pinch of salt. What I will say though is this guy can ****ing punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him"

Hearn: "Froch is financially comfortable, but that doesn’t mean he’ll get in the ring for less than he deserves, and that is a horrible, dangerous fight."
so do you think GGG beats Ward or Froch

    pretty simple question

I think he beats Froch. Not sure on Ward.

Did you learn anything from those posts? Can you summarize the lessons?

Nobody can beat GGG at 160, or even survive to the end. I'd love to see him fight the supposed lineal title guy Cotto, who would quit in the ring like he did against Pacquaio, only worse, or Canelo, who would be knocked unconscious because he would try to trade.

I'm sick of hearing about ****** crappy clinching Ward. He's a 168 who would have a great chance of beating GGG simply by clinching and being by far the larger guy. I hate Ward's guts. I also hate Cotto and hope GGG fights him (won't happen) and gives him permanent brain damage.
Really not cool to wish brain damage on any fighter, especially a warrior like Cotto.

My summary of this thread is most every one acknowledges GGG is a world class fighter.

His fans prefer he fights cotto and may weather who hold lineal titles at 147, 154, and 160

These guys are no threat to him money started at 130 and cotton at 140 eventually size beats skills

They are big money fights but with his skill and size it won't really prove anything

Boxing fans want him to face someone else who is a legit threat at 160 or 168

Froch, ward, Kessler, quillen, groves, Abraham, Sturm, steiglitz or degale

There's more lessons, and maybe more to come if I get bored:

            1. It's not unusual for SWWs to come in in the low 170s fight night
            2. GGG was only 161 4 days before the weighin. Even guys that have to make 154 are often heavier at that point
            3. As Iole notes: "If you're a 154-pound champion, then you should be ready, willing and able to fight anyone who can make the 154-pound limit."
            4. Team GGG has no issue going to England to fight Froch
            5. Team Froch feels it's a horrible, dangerous fight, better avoided

I suspect he'll fight Murray in Monte Carlo in February and then fight Cotto in June at MSG. Canelo will have to look elsewhere for a fight on Cinco de Mayo, I think Golovkin would bring in better business.

What would make you think that?

Froch wants to be on PPV and GGG isn't an established PPV attraction yet.
