If he headbutts then people should rightfully complain.

The problem is he gets caught, everyone knows he is fouling and faking, but the refs don't care because he's old. That's not fair, and fans shouldn't support it.

It's not tricks. It's cheating. And I really hope Hopkins doesn't resort to cheating to win.

You do realize that stepping on an opponent's foot is a tactic that's been used since before boxing wad acknowledged ad a sport.

Refs aren't judges. Refs are the guys in the ring who never call Hopkins out for headbutting, holding, and pretending clean shots are fouls. The man literally runs forward with his head down for no reason but to headbutt sometimes, and no ref calls him out for it. Everyone knows what he does, but they excuse it because the poor old man should be allowed to break the rules.

He's gotten away with it for a long time, and the impunity with which he's been allowed to foul has played a big role in his late career success. He'll probably get away with it against Kovalev, too, and if he wins only because the ref buys Hopkins's bull**** then people should complain.

being a REF and a JUDGE are two completely different things. So the judge is gonna takes points away himself cuz he sees hopkins headbutting?? come on man! stop it!

they don't have a personal vendetta against hopkins (why would they?); his style is just easy to score against due to the scarcity of his punches these days
