      he's a 31 year old former flyweight. he doesn't have the time to rebuild his style. he's been boxing since he was a kid.

      it's too late to change by a lot. he can tweak things, but to think he'll stop depending on the left hook that used to put top flight guys to sleep, is wrong. his body is going to remember to do what he learned in his youth and early adulthood.

      you might change hiim in the gym, but the second you nail him with a shot, he's going to go back to what he was. you really can't teach old dogs new tricks. if the style doesn't evolve organically as the fighter ages, bringing about true change in a style is very rare.
