How can people think that Guerrero is more of a test for Khan than Alexander LOL

Nobody can test you for a Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao

You either have the style and ability to cause problems or you don't...

Am giving some credit, ITS a good decent Card unlike the ROD SAlka-Garcia, the reason am not 100% sold is because there will be not enough action in at least two of the three fights, with Thurman vs Bumdu being the best fight of the night.

Don't get me wrong I like Khan-Alexander and Sharlo vs Andrade but those will be very tactical fight with no drama involved.

Thurman was just in the main event earlier this year. In the end, they're both main event fighters.

It doesn't matter what path Khan takes, in the end, he has to earn his shot just like Thurman...or are you suggesting that despite Khan only having a couple matches at welterweight, Floyd would still give him a match out of the "goodness of his heart"?
Broner was touted as the next Mayweather and had a tonne of hype behind him. They almost did the Maidana fight on PPV because of his star potential. Thurman has nowhere near that kind of profile - he's only known by hardcore fans.

Thurman co-main evented with Lucas Matthysse at the Stub Hub and probably got less than half a million. As Paulie Malignaggi said, he fights for co-main event money

Khan fought on the Mayweather card at the MGM and got $1.5m to fight Collazo.

We're talking about two fighters at different stages of their careers. Mayweather would fight Khan because he brings a lot to the table in terms of an international fanbase. Thurman doesn't bring anything yet.

At this time, a win over Alexander who is a former champion is more meaningful than fighting Thurman in the grand scheme of things.

Keyword: almost. When word got out that it was probably going to be PPV, there was a lot of backlash because Broner is clearly not a PPV star.

And whoever was hyping him up as the next Floyd Mayweather are likely the same people who are hyping Thurman up as the boogeyman.

That event was mainly about Thurman, as he was the one getting the most attention. Sure, it also featured "The Return of the Machine" but the promo video for that fight ONLY showed Thurman. Heck, aside from showing his name, they didn't even mention Matthysse.

If Khan would fight Mayweather just because he "brings more to the table", then you also have to admit that he didn't truly earn his shot. In the end, this would be Khan's second fight in the welterweight division and it's against a guy who lost his belt a year ago (back when a win truly did mean something). A win over an undefeated powerhouse like Thurman would mean more than a win against former champion with two losses on his record.

Alexander was hitting Karrass with Hard shots. If Julio Diaz could knock down Amir Khan, Devon Alexander could knock him out.

They're wouldn't even be a consideration of Thurman headlining a PPV. Broner reached a wider audience because of his association to Mayweather. When Maidana beat him, it garnered a huge amount of attention beyond hardcore boxing fans and into the mainstream. Broner also had a title belt....

A win over Keith Thurman simply doesn't make anywhere near the same kind of splash and it's ridiculous to suggest so.

The guy has become an ATG for "eyeing" fighters, similar to Leo santa cruz!
