Props to Golden Boy for being aggressive, proactive and having vision for good sake. Take us out of this few fights a year bullszzzzhit mentality & keep the ball rolling!!! Plenty of fans to run with, no worries!

Ranked higher based on what? Alexander is a former two weight world champion. Why would Khan bother to fight Thurman over him? For what gain? No one knows who the guy is.
First of all, you make it seem like Thurman is a complete nobody but he really isn't. He's been getting enough attention to the point where even the Showtime crew is calling him the "boogeyman" of the welterweight division. They know Thurman has done enough get that recognition and it's all thanks to the guys who keep turning him down (like Maidana, Paulie, and Guerrero).

Second, by being the first to beat the "boogeyman" of the welterweight division, Khan would not only be seen as a top fighter in that divison but this could also make him an even more attractive opponent for both Brook and Floyd. Plus, he could even become the mandatory for one of Floyd's belts.

So yeah, Khan would gain a lot from beating Thurman.

Andrade vs. Charlo could be a strategic war in the makings. Aren't both of the up and comers undefeated?

the question on everyone's lips is what round will Alexander quit and shout "it burns!", this time not from a Bradley-style headbutt but from the blazing hot speed of Khan's punches burning the very skin off Devon's face each time they land. poll coming.

I knew it would be against a light puncher, it is called "careful matchmaking".

"The Boogeyman".....lol or Khan beats him and people say "who cares?" Being mandatory to Floyd doesn't mean **** cos it'll never be enforced anyway.

Thurman just needs to keep doing what he's doing and work his way into a title shot or something. He doesn't bring enough to the table right now. It's no ones duty to just give him a fight outta the goodness of their hearts.

Nope, Khan would just get accused of beating a hype job. Thurman needs to beat someone with a pulse first.

No, it won't be "who cares". It would be "Khan deserves a fight with Floyd now!" and it would overshadow Maidana's win over Broner.

Do you really think Floyd would refuse to fight mandatory challenger with a name as big as Khan? Be serious, dude. There would be no question right then that Khan would have earned his shot at Floyd.

Thurman should "keep doing what he's doing"? As in, winning fights at welterweight, in which he's already been doing for years? So what should Khan do? He just moved up to welterweight this year. Guess he should do the same thing.

Actually, being the first to expose a hypejob just may make him even more popular and respected. After all, look at where it got Maidana? Taking Thurman's hype just may be all he needs and it would also boost his stance in the welterweight division.

Do you really think Thurman's profile is on par with Adrien Broner's was? Live in the real world, man.

Khan is a main event level fighter who earns main event level money. Thurman is an undercard fighter right now. Hopefully he beats Bundu and becomes IBF mandatory then he'll get his shot against Brook. Khan is on his own path.

They are counting out Devon too quickly.
