well then lets put it into perspective cause if i remember right ggg management used to make fun of people for using money as an excuse not to fight someone and everyone knows dam well a ggg ward fight would sell 2 fighters in their prime it would be a huge fight we all know its true

The middleweight division in a joke right now. Cotto-Canelo is inevitable, but they're not even middleweights. Jermain Taylor shouldn't even be fighting. Quillen is a total joke. IMO, GGG-Geale was a match-up between the best two middleweights in boxing. GGG won, nothing left to prove at 160.Comment

I agree with Groves, GGG should target Mayweather, Cotto, and Canelo. Chavez Jr. can get you a PPV, but not like those 3, especially Mayweather. GGG is a small middleweight, so a fight would Floyd or Cotto @ 154 would be ideal, and Canelo @ 160 is only a matter of time.Comment

I don't care if we never see Ward in the ring again. Team GGG's reason for not fighting him was that it didn't make financial sense, which is cool, because arguably it didn't. I'm just sick of fanb1tches like you getting on here acting like Team GGG wanted the fight when they clearly didn't.Comment

Yea Mayweather is not going to fight him, Canelo would probably fight him but no way does GBP risk their cash cow in that fight. Cotto is the best candidate to probably fight him, but will he? Chavez Jr is wrapped up with his legal issues that we don't know when it will end, the same with Ward as well, so the question becomes what does GGG do from here? We all know Haymon won't allow Quillin to fight him either. Sounds like he might be in a tough spot right now. It could be a while before we see the fights we want to see at middleweight.Comment

Groves was in the Sky studio for the GGG fight the other night.
He sparred Golovkin a while back and said a number of interesting things, the one that stuck out being that GGG could move to 154 easier than 168. Obviously said he hits very hard, especially when he's not big at the weight. That being said, he also said a move to 168 would be possible and good for the division.Comment
