Well, Floyd is supposed to be the best boxer in the world so it stands to reason people want to see what the best boxer in the world can do. Can GGGs straightforward style trouble the skills of Floyd, some would say hes made to measure for Floyd.
Maidana wasn't the smaller guy than Floyd. He was bloated. Was RJJ obligated to fight Ruiz? Was RJJ underdog against Ruiz? Floyd just needs to challenge himself. Its not a case of GGG not having fought anyone. I don't think anyone cares about that. He is the most avoided boxer in the world for the reason people fear being ko'ed by him. To say your not going to fight him cos he hasn't got a great name on his record or that it wont sell is the worst excuse in the world.
In a 47 fight career, he's fought 3 times at 154. All 3 times against guys with huge following 2/3 times breaking all time numbers.
Clearly, he's not a LMW but only fights there for mega fights. GGG is only a mega fighter to hardcore fans. He's not fought at 154 for more than a year, but you want him in with a middleweight.
What's shocking is that you'd make up a far fetched logic just to see him get slaughtered against a much bigger guy who was 173 lbs on fight night. That's 4 weight classes above floyd!
173 is not uncommon for a SWW, where Floyd has held a belt for 2.5 years. He's the lineal champ, which part do you not understand? 3 of his last 4 fights were contested for a SWW belt. If he doesn't like the belt, he wouldn't be paying the fees (esp when fighting Maidana at 147 lol) or crying to the WBA not to strip him, he wants to defend

Not uncommon?
In which world is it common to rehydrate 20 lbs overnight and be healthy? You were reaching before, now you're just getting desperate.
Especially considering Mayweather is 148-150 fight night, you realistically say he's ducking someone who's not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 weightclasses above him on fight night.
Of Course Groves would say that. He sure doesnt want GGG to come to 168 and demolish him and any other SMW not named Andre Ward. People along with GGG's camp should be concerned with big bouts at 160 with Top guys who are his size like Quillin, Cotto, Canelo, Murray... Not chasing the Guyin Floyd that walks around at 150 and by boxing standards should actually be fighting at JWW 140.

Jesus christ.
Why don't we all just say what we really think?
That Floyd is ducking Klitschko.
Canelo was 172 to Trout's 171.
Here it is from a long time Floyd supporter Iole, well stated:
That said, it's not outrageous to suggest that they fight, because Mayweather does hold a 154-pound belt and Golovkin has repeatedly said he could make 154 pounds easily. If you're a 154-pound champion, then you should be ready, willing and able to fight anyone who can make the 154-pound limit.
There was ample evidence presented just last week that proves Golovkin could make it. On the Monday before the fight, he weighed 161 pounds, just one over the middleweight limit and only seven away from the super welterweight limit.
Hitking , what Ward has to do with anything ? he was talking about GGG going down to 154 , to their weight class to get those fights , unlike your boy Ward who sits unbeaten unphased with nothing to prove @ 168 and not moving an inch waiting for everyone to come to him.
please dont bring up ward everytime GGG is mentioned .
Why its Floyd in reverse , GGG fans dont want Ward they want the little guy , its like Floyd calling out Algeiri , he would get a roasting in here but its ok for all the others to do it , its all just the same typical double standards that dominate this forum .

Yeah and one of Canelo's last fights were moved to Middleweight because he couldn't make the weight and wouldn't be healthy.
There's a reason why governing bodies are beginning to insert these maximum rehydration rules, because it's unhealthy.
Besides, Mayweather has already moved up 5 weightclasses, he's not campaigning as no LMW champion and we all know he's not a LMW. He should have been stripped of them anyway, and probably will.
GGG should start thinking about trying to be great and 1) try to get a live body middleweight in there with him, not picking on a 150 lber 2) move up in weight to face bigger and better guys.
It's clear that you only want that fight because you have an agenda vs Mayweather. GGG is 173 on fight night, that's 24 pounds more than Mayweather was at his last fight. Why doesn't GGG go up and face Kovalev or Marco Huck or David Haye? That's the same kind of weight difference.

And funny enough Floyd made him drop an extra 2lbs, just as he was struggling to make weight lol. Again see the Iole quote, GGG came in 161lbs 5 days before the weighin. Most SWWs are heavier.
Also see his first paragraph. do you know the meaning of "champion"? Does it mean champion of the blown up, past prime, champion of the celeb circuit, or what?

Yeah he did. As I said, I'm not a fan of Mayweather, couldn't give a **** about him. But doesn't mean I'll let idiotic claims let by. Clearly you have an agenda.
I don't care. Do you not want him to face Marco Huck or Kovalev? Guys that are within the same weight span of him as Mayweather.
Once again, Mayweather is only fighting at 154 for huge PPV fights. GGG has never fought an elite opponent, let alone been on PPV so obviously that fight doesn't make sense.
