Skeete impressed me, thought Gavin was fortunate to get the decision and a draw would've been fair. Hopefully Warren starts matching him a little better now too.

Eubank Jr-Saunders went exactly how I thought. Jr is a good talent and will come again, hopefully the loss motivates him to train harder/identifies what flaws he needs work on. Didn't like to see Davies being disrespected in the corner by Snr, too much ego is never a good thing.

Middleweight is a competitive division domestically and Saunders has now established himself as the best of the up and comers. I hope we don't face a situation like McEwan-Murray-Lee-Macklin-Barker where now of 'em fight each other. Eubank Jr should look towards Ryder or Blackwell for his next fight.

Fury-Chisora was the biggest let down, I really thought that would be a war but Chisora seemed so uninterested early on. I think that it's possible he's lost that fire he once had but hopefully he can re-ignite it if/when he fights Price.

I quite enjoyed this fight, probably only because i was expecting a real stinker.
Yeah, Skeetle looked very good; very slick, in and out, boxing. He deserved the win. Gavin, meanwhile, displayed poor footwork, a lack of variety, and should have been deducted a point for repetitive low blows and rabbit punches.

      Shame on Warren.

Great post. Absolutely agree with your comments on Chisora. He looked really disinterested, like his heart isn't in boxing anymore. Don Charles did a great job in the corner.

I didn't catch any of the undercards but the main event was a big letdown. Chisora was his usually self - one dimensional come-forward fight on inside kind of guy. I didn't expect anything more from him.

However, Tyson Fury fought such an uninspiring lackadaisical and boring fight. He fought flat footed, flicked the jab without any real conviction and was content on sleep walking through the fight. I've heard some posters here say "he boxed brilliantly and such." He boxed like it was a sparring match.

I would've like to seen Fury fight with a little more urgency, intent and explosiveness. He was landing at will but his offensive was any but "explosive," it was more like a slow burn.

Yea it wasn't the most exciting Fury fight but he got in some well needed rounds. He was coming off a long lay off.

yeah, I guess I can give him a pass due to that reasoning. Hopefully in his next fight he fights with a little more passion

I, for one, am looking forward to this Klitchsko-Fury match.

Flicking southpaw jabs, switching stance, it was like a light spar for fury, he showed in the 10th he could get the KO when he started throwing power and explosiveness in a few combinations. I understand he didn't have to risk that, but the lack of, well, fighting, didn't show me he'll beat wlad. Different strategy though I guess.

He could do with fighting a guy Wlad's size, for starters. Feasting on blown-up cruiserweights and small HWs is hardly adequate preparation.
