Rigo said he's willing to fight Johnny Gonzales at 126. Don't see why Walters would be a problem. And there's no reason for Rigo not put on some extra muscle weight like every fighter does when they move up in weight.

Rigo has said it multiple times that he is moving up to feather.

Those happy with the politics of boxing are salivating at the idea of Rigo failing at 126. Same fans which are ok with the other 3x Champs avoiding Rigo at 122

        Of course!

Rigo beings no money so LsC and Euro champs should duck.

Like Rigo can gain 4 inches and reach by moving up. Its not the weight, it is the size being too much to overcome skill.

Walters is awesome but will top at 135-140. Rigo is topped.

Move up to featherweight for what? Who said the champions at 126 are willing to fight him. And even if they are, Walters, Lomachenko and Gradovich are all promoted by Top Rank and they won't work with Rigo's "promoter".

Walter's performance last night was impressive.

Yeah, Rigo only puts on about 3-5 lbs night of the fight. People don't understand around here that if Rigo re-hydrated to what Donaire and Walters weigh on fight night - Rigo's masterclass vs Donaire last year would have been an obliteration. That being said I thought Donaire was going to pull it off last night.

So many excuses for Rigo on this site. Now the Donaire crowd will say that he is only a 118 lb. fighter. To be truly great...one needs to move up and challenge oneself.

Steve USS just beat a man by KO that outweighed him by 73 lbs. This 4 lb B.S. is ridiculous.
