Anyhow, this is how his promoter viewed a Golovkin fight back in September:

I'm guessing that might change if HBO put the same money up for a fight in Monaco.
I think for HBO, they're just paying to broadcast it

Murray got a seven figure deal from that South African promoter. He's probably earning as much as GGG. He doesn't need GGG to earn money

Then speculatively it's hard to see a Murray fight. I'm assuming Berman says it's a US fight due to HBO money. Maybe they can convince N'Dam to take the fight, it's next door to him after all.

You're overrating Murray by a long shot. One is domestic. The other world class. That simple. Murray isn't a good fighter in the champion level scheme of things which is the level GGG needs to start operating on. It's a waste of a career feasting on second tier contenders while being the best fighter in the division.
It has nothing to do with overrating Murray, it's a styles situation as well as Murray being a big MW. Rubio is tall but he isn't as solid as Murray is, it has nothing to do with power just it helps him take punches better which is key to handling GGG. I still think he has the technique and ability to overcome someone who doesn't fear his power, but I still want to see it happen.

I doubt that very much as well. He didn't want to fight when he was the mando and when they went to purse bids. He's the IBF mando now, so he's going to sit and wait.

Rodney paid a lot of money for Murray, if he's cool with Murray not fighting for a title and fighting the blacker Roy Jones Jnr, that's his money.

Murray isn't going to get a WBC at Cotto because GGG's the interim and he's the mando for Cotto. Aside from a voluntary, which will most likely be used on Canelo, Murray isn't going to bypass him

Mistake in the article: Loeffler actually said last night HBO will NOT televise GGG's fight in Monaco.

He'll be back on HBO later in 2015, hopefully against Cotto or Alvarez.

I honestly doubt he's earning as much as GGG, but as you say. Once the deal ends after his next fight if his performance is as shoddy as his last couple you think anyone going to want to see him in the light of day again? I don't think so.

                  What about Jermain?

With Uncle Al's backing he's wrangled himself a world championship. GGG would bring in more dollars than a mandatory with N'Dam.

Yes, GGG should target the other beltholders at 160.

Murray lasts 4 or 5 rounds, in full survival mode.
