You just can't please boxing fans. No matter what you do it's never good enough.

This guy fought Rigo when he didn't have fight him. You'd think he'd earn the respect of these idiots, but instead they question him because he moved up in weight and is not begging for a rematch with a guy who is no longer in his division.
Idiots is exactly what they are man. Dude is still ducking Rigondeaux apparently. Some still call him a hype job yet praise Walters as if he's accomplished anything in the sport.

Donaire is a great fighter. But real boxing fans should recognize it's a travesty that Donaire is still getting prime time exposure on HBO after he LOST to Rigo... and Rigo is sent to the pit even though he remains the best in his division and unbeaten... Not that Donaire shouldn't still get exposure on HBO... but there is imbalance in the universe, is all I am saying...

I think Rigondeaux begs to differ.

            Why so much hate?

            HA!
Donaire's first real loss was to Rigo, and it hit him hard psychologically, and you have to admit that this guy has got talent. He doesn't become a candidate for fighter of the year for nothing. He is simply trying to recover from the loss. He was brought back down to earth by Rigo, because he was on such a high when he was on that fantastic winning streak.

I think that the loss was actually good for Donaire, and has matured him because 'what doesn't kill you will make you stronger' - right? He sounds like a different person during this interview.

He won't need any excuses because I think that Walters's style is tailor made for Donaire and will stop Walters on a TKO. I just hope that fans like you stop hating simply because a fighter loses a fight.

It's official, fighters get hated on no matter what they do. So what he lost, he fought Rigo, Vic when undefeated, Walters who nobody else wants, & others, the guys a real fighter, you win some you lose some, give props...

Donaire is looking terrible. I sense a stoppage.

Bro you'll see tonight... if he was sincere... that dude was a HBO hype job.

And you can TOTALLY tell by the way they treated and have been treating Rigo since he put Donaire in his spot.

Nonito was one of my favorite fighters. A PAC alternative. Talk about going out on your shield? What a heart. What a guy. Still has character but should hang em up now and live a health life. I guess I slept on this Walters guy. Wow!
