Whenever I hear people speak like this it sounds like they're trying to convince themselves.

I don't know if it's motivation or confidence Donaire is missing, probably a bit of both. A win tonight could really turn things around for him. On the other hand, if he isn't in the right frame of mind a hungry dude like Walters could take him out.

That's a good point. He voluntarily did testing when no one else would. Anyone and everyone knows there are some dirty boxers out there that know how to beat the tests.

He also welcomes tough fights and is asking to face the top guys in his division.
He puts Danny Garcia to shame on that front.

Exactly..this is why i post like i post..If a fighter never loses"oh he isnt fighting anyone"...then once the lose "oh he is a hype job or a bum" It is ridiculous on here Donaire is clearly a talented fighter and a future hall of famer who has accomplished a lot in this sport

Sure a lot of hate going Donaire's way. I think he's too experienced to get KO'd by Walters. To be honest, other than the KOs against lesser opponents, I haven't seen anything special in Walters. If Walters is able to pull it off, it would be nice to see someone from the islands get a big win.
