Valero wouldve been a tough one for floyd... southpaw stance, awkward, determined(unlike judah) and vicious puncher....hell, he wouldve been a tough one for anyone..

I think Maidana's strategy was pretty good in the first fight. He was just too slow and of course he gassed.

The only way I see Mayweather losing is if he gets caught early by someone he took lightly. Give him time and he'll figure a way to win.

            Intelligent pressure fighters.

I used to think a great jab was essential, but Maidana threw some doubt on that assumption. The key is exerting some control over his movement and denying him the freedom of the ring. If you can close off the escape routes you can get something done, see Castillo, Cotto, and Maidana.

The unbiased ref and somewhere that isn't his hometown in Vegas I think will give him the most problems.

if maidana had elite level stamina, i think he would've beaten this version of floyd.

I think Lara could give Floyd serious issues.
