If he fights Taylor then unifies with Cotto, on paper it will look good

It all makes too much sense.

        Oh Norm!

Why do you want to get the fans all riled up? The next thing you'll hear is Mayweather is ducking Taylor.

mayweather/taylor makes no sense or cents. if Floyd moves up too 160, he has too fight golovkin because he is considered the best middleweight in the world.

remember when Oscar moved too 160. he could have just vacated after he beat sturm. instead he wanted too fight the best middleweight in the world at the time which was b hop. because Oscar knew he wouldn't be considered the real champ at 160 without fighting the main guy at 160.

so unless Floyd fights ggg, a move too middleweight is pointless. beating taylor means nothing. he isn't the best middleweight

Mayweather vs Taylor at 158 for MW title!
              99-1 purse split for Floyd
              I think Taylor would agree.

Win win win situation for TBE.

The whole point of the Sturm fight was to build towards a unification fight with Hopkins in September. They figured Sturm would be a soft touch and it completely backfired before the judges saved De La Hoya and gave him a gift.

And why would he have to fight Golovkin? In principle, sure, that would be the fight that should happen - but who's going to make him fight him?

Mayweather seems to be a sensitive subject for you. Try not to take every little thing said about him to heart, little fella.

There is a small chance he would fight Taylor if Taylor won the middleweight title but that's not likely to happen as Taylor seems washed up.

Despite the opportunity to win a 160 lb title and Taylor's highly diminished skills, I don't think Floyd wants to fight anyone that big. If you're being fair you can't blame him.

No way. Mayweather should try for a Cotto rematch instead.
