I'm looking forward to his retirement, so hopefully he doesn't change his mind. There's still money to be made, so it won't be surprising if he does get cold feet.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. thinking about extending his contract!!!

in our lifetime, tyson and dela hoya exist before mayweather. even if mayweather and pacquiao retires there will always be boxing superstars.
and that next superstar would not be embarrassed if he type coward boxer in google search.Comment

you said yesterday an ATG was an ATG regardless of what stage their career was at. then you asked did Floyd beat any prime ATG's. I asked why does it matter if, as you said, an ATG is an ATG. you never got back to it. Its still in the other thread.Never said JMM was scared. What was your atg question?
No Floyd refused because he didn't accept the 14 day cutoff for testing...stop fooling yourself. Like I said why would the 57-5 boxer be afraid of taking on an undefeated? Floyd clearly has more to lose. I don't think he's faced the same opponent more than twice in his career.
It's evident Floyd has made.a ton of money because of his record. Believe it or not a lot of people buy his fights to see if he can stay unbeaten or lose. He's not entertaining in his fights and his rep outside of boxing is terrible.
Floyd has made a ton of money because he sells seats and ppv's, the same way any boxer makes money. Not a single dime (unless you get a cut of concessions which Floyd does) is made between round 1 and round 12.
You may not be entertained, but you can't say those that buy tickets/theatre seat/ppv's continuously are not. Repeat customers=entertained.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 10-17-2014, 08:15 AM.Comment

true there will always be another superstar, but that doesn't mean the next one will eclipse or come near what Floyd has done.Comment

No need. His other fans are here. The ones that "hate" him. Based on the ratio of flowmos and others in this thread, I'd say the others are even more obsessed with Floyd. 10+ pages of how no one cares lol. And more to come.Comment

Where to begin with this steaming, pompous pile of flowmo turd. Ahhh I just love it when floydspastics start ****ing on about every fighter that doesnt run, jab, and clinch constantly as face first, non skilled brawlers. These kind of sweeping generalisations are standard fare for the average floydgimp, but only serve to expose their complete lack of knowledge of the sport and respect for its participants.posters like you who discuss boxing in 1 out of every 100 posts the other 99 are making some kind of ****sexual reference, the guys who stream fights illegally, the guys who criticize fighters with actual boxing skills because they don't brawl mindlessly, the posters who openly discuss that they WONT be watching fights on TV - yeah you guys are the kind of "actual boxing fans" the sport could do without.
The only upside to Floyd retiring would be clowns like you no longer have a reason to log on to NSB. That would be a price worth paying.
It wont be us boxing fans that leave when floyd fooks off, as most of us were fans of the sport way before that ducking, moronic primadonna turned up. No, it'll be you and the rest of your disgusting kind that go....maybe not immediately, you might stick around in the vain hope that someone like Boner might actually do something. But you will go, simply because beyond floyd and his twitter page goofs, because you arent fans of the sport. You're like a bunch of giggly little 12 year old justin beiber fans, yet with the stench of racism thrown in.
God speed frauds retirement!Comment

Like I said..many people buy his ppvs not because they like the guy or that he's entertaining...it's to see if he can be beaten.you said yesterday an ATG was an ATG regardless of what stage their career was at. then you asked did Floyd beat any prime ATG's. That's why I posed the question as "PRIME and ATG" and the only guy was JMM at a catchweight for Floyd. Beayting an atg who is not prime is not as impressive. That's 1 of the 47 opponents...weak for any ATG's standards.Last edited by HeGotPacProblem; 10-17-2014, 08:26 AM.Comment
