I wonder what has happened to the Matthysse fight.

"I hope Adrien Broner is not all talk" - Matthysse

Maidana just had a fight last month, Paqciao has a fight next month and Matthysse is available. So why not Matthysse?

Man, when are these clowns stop fooling fans? Fights that are supposed to be easy to make are not happening.

      Really?

      "he whooped him"

He did? What fight did you watch? It was a WAR and both men had their moments. Minus the knock downs, Broner would've won. Let's not get beside ourselves with our praise for MM. He won a close but decisive fight.

While I'm a fan of the phrase "KO'd cold", Maidana isn't the kind of fighter that cleanly knocks out many fighters. He doesn't have the precision, nor the stamina to score many KO's. So, in short, I doubt Maidana could ever cleanly knock out Broner... just beat him up, which is good enough anyway.

        Where he truly belongs.
He belongs in a weight class that he drained hard to make? Broner is clearly too big to fight at lightweight. He's just not good enough to fight fighters his own size and look good against.

Chino isnt going back to 140 so Broner rematch would be at 147. At that weight, with Maidana getting consditioned properly, there's a pretty good chance he would stop Broner imo.

            Bet.........

If the rematch happens, I will BET you all of my points that Broner goes the distance. MM almost got stopped in the first fight. He hit Broner with EVERYTHING and is much bigger. If he couldn't KO him then, what makes you think he can now?

I don't think Broner will ever psychologically recover from what Maidana did to him if they get in the ring again. It will always be in the back of his mind, what happened to him in the first fight, and the 2 Floyd fights will only help Maidana even more.

I could def see Broner getting KO'd!! If he takes that right hand Floyd did in the 2nd fight, he's done for

He'll def be motivated again, especially after Broner starts running his mouth again. Maidana doesn't play the **** talking, and it motivates him even more to hurt you.

where is this "broner almost stopped maidana" coming from? because of a cheap shot after the bell at the end of the eleven? the only one who was almost out was broner, and pretty fast, already in round 2 he was in ***** street. i agree motivation is an important fact here, and if chino can get the same impetus from the fights with floyd i can really see him stopping broner.
