I agree, if GGG gets another KO win this weekend, he's should be considered at least P4P #3.
i agree,i would be very impressed if he fought him...win or lose...and if he won...i'd be the first to praise him!i think ggg is gonna get an early, perhaps 2 or 3 rd k.o-out cold this weekend,he's somethin' else!

Good move by Pac if he follows through with it. I don't see a fight against Mayweather unless Canelo gets that May date vs. Cotto, then Mayweather would definitely have to fight someone like Pac. I would like to see Pac v. Garcia or maybe Pac v. Khan somewhere between 140 and 144.

This could be a ploy to get Mayweather though. I'm a Mayweather fan, but i know that if Canelo gets Cotto in May and Pac goes down to 140, then Mayweather does not really have a suitable opponent at 147 unless he gets "One Time" Thurman or Khan. Fight against Thurman would be considered a good, tough fight for most (not all), but a fight with Khan would be sell more PPV's. I'm hoping that whatever Pac is doing, it forces Mayweather and his promotion to work with Top Rank, Golden Boy, HBO, Showtime and whoever else needs to be involved to get this done.

Haha, you dudes who think Manny is running from the WW division are quite sad really. Especially with Floyd's recent rants and threatening of firing people, he absolutely had no intention of fighting Manny.

Who are you fl0mos trying to convince? Yourselves?

Going to 140 opens doors for Manny imo.

but then again, all this means is that he's fighting Mikey Garcia next year
Those that analyze everything Manny should see he has been extremely flabby with his trunks super high since Margarito

Contrary to this Monster at 154

He's longer super ripped and also no longer has the tree trunk calves.....He's simply not training, there's pic for days proving this

How does a move down help a older less motivated fighter who his own Promoter and trainers critique his training habits of late, they want him to train more and lose more weight, smh...............

Honestly although small I think Manny is optimal weight these days at about 35 is 150-154, he left something there, I dont know if that was the good work Margarito put on him there or the weight he felt, all in all that was still his best and last prime fight...Why wont his handlers give him a 154 can, Algieri is a can..I worry about the 140 move for the some reason

If fighters wasn't cutting 15-20 pounds both him and Floyd would have been moved up officially, from what I watch and analyze from a guy that watched him his whole career, thats their best weight at this point, Manny could razzle dazzle slower guys(targeting smaller fighters caused him 2 l's which could very easily been 3-4 vs JMM and Bradley....the speed is his issue, not punch resistance), and I see 154 favoring Floyd he lets his hands goes with little regards with 10 oz gloves

The 140 move is nothing more than a glorified attempt to duck or throw a road block in the Floyd negotiations or questions.......Thats not the Manny I fell in love with.......It's time to take charge Manny

Brook Maidana Guerrero Thurman Porter Khan Canelo , they are all willing to fight Manny and I havent even mentioned Floyd .

Who does Manny fight Algieri , Rios Bradley , none of them had a WW fight before fighting Manny and now he wants to go to 140 but only after forcing a CW of 144 on a 140 fighter , are you people for fcking real .

Manny is ducking WWs its so obvious .

What doors will it open fighters at 130/135? Nobody wants to see him fight those guys. The fighters at 140 are already willing to fight Pacquiao at 147. As far as i can see it only shuts doors.

Look at Floyd's resume at how many Latinos he's fought. Guys one dimensional, lead with their chin, plodders, guys that given the slightest of movement, they're incapable of catching him. Dela Hoya was the exception and most felt Oscar won that fight. So much so, Oscar went for the sunglasses as soon as the decision was announced and Floyd walked away from a $25m rematch. Zab Judah rocked Floyd and gave him trouble. A 41 yr old Shane Mosley nearly stopped Floyd in two. Had Mosley been in his prime, that fight would have ended. Even Maidana wasn't effective in the second fight when Floyd stayed away on his bike. He wanted Khan but got so much backlash for considering him having beaten nobody at '47, and beaten at '40 by Garcia & Peterson. Khan has done nothing since 2010.

Canelo is no Gennady. Canelo one dimensional. GGG has very good boxing skills getting better every fight, with paralyzingly power in either hand; hits way harder than Canelo. Watch what they say when Gennady blows up Rubio Saturday night. Nobody will want GGG.
