floyd was coming off a two year layoff......a rusty floyd mayweather just got up off his couch and destroyed an atg......and he did it with a broken rib too.

You guys didn't answer my question...you turn it around and pin it on Pac.

What prime Atg has Floyd beat other than JMM at a cw?

If an ATG is an ATG as you posted above, why does it matter if they were prime when Floyd fought them?

SHane, ODH, JMM are all ATG's.

Can someone, anyone please tell me what Arum or Manny or anyone at Top Rank has done to actually try and make a fight with Floyd? All we have are soundbites, they keep barking about how bad they want to fight him but have never initiated one negotiation.

Every attempt to negotiate has been made by Floyd, 4 by my count. If they want to fight him why are they talking to everyone but him? Surely he can't be that hard to reach, even then why not just go to showtime? Didn't Arum say they agreed to work with HBO for it? WTF?

Its not an insult huh..? The sky isn't blue either. Whatever man. If the catch weight wasn't meant to benefit Marquez why did he ask for it? Mayweather would have been happy fighting as a full welterweight which is obvious as he couldn't even make the catchweight; unlike Pacquiao who would only fight his opponent who is coming up in weight at a lower catchweight. Catchweights are usually only meant to disadvantage the man that has to lose more weight than they are normally used to. But in Pacquiao's case he wants to make sure that his opponent that is coming up in weight doesn't come up too much in weight even if it means that he himself has to lose more weight than he normally does.

floyd hasn't fought any other atg's but that doesnt take away the fact that he has fought the better version of hof'er's they both fought.

JMM never fought at 142....so it's a disadvantage.
