I see he gets ALOT of heat on this forum......and i do see why sometimes but the kid has heart alot of fighters would of crumbled in that miadina fight...

he has a decent skill set great hand speed and i think his power will develop

he would beat peterson and garcia in my opinion........

i think because he is so connected to floyd he gets alot of backlash but he is a good solid fighter with heart.......

A case of Gary Russell fever this is where a fighter has blazing handspeed and nothing much else & it blinds fans into believing they're better than what they truly are.

He lost to Ponce
He lost to some Mexican fighter whose name I can't even remember
He arguably lost to Paulie - he did if we're being honest.
He got beaten to a pulp by Maidana
Sc****d by ESPN fighter Taylor by the skin of his teeth
He made Gavin Rees look like a mini Sugar Ray for 3 rounds ffs

Still we're being force fed he is this great talent which he simply isn't.
Okay he has heart, his chins alright, he has good handspeed. So do a thousand other fighters. There is nothing special about him. He is not really much better than all these other TMT fighters being pushed in our faces that keep losing in essentially are cherrypicks backfiring because they are not that good and certainly not as good as advertised.

Hes a bit like Andre Berto really only people aren't still under the illusion that Berto is this amazing talent.

People need to come to the acceptance that Broner is not an elite level fighter or talent. He needs to be matched accordingly with guys like Taylor, Mayfield, Lundy, Soto, Funeka, Mayfield because that is the level he is at and tbf some of those guys probably beat him.

Manny, Maidana, Lucas, Danny Garcia & so on are 2-3 levels above him

AB was highly overrated until he lost to Maidana.

Now I think he is probably on an even level with the likes of Garcia, Peterson, Khan and Porter.

He used to pretty offensive when he had his '0' but is a bit easier now, more fun.

The only thing that continues to annoy me is his love-in with Floyd - frankly it is weird and borderline ****sexuality.

AB is entertainment - not for his boxing but the rest of his antics.

He will lose again if he continues at 140 / 147.
