Maidana does hit harder than Marquez, but it took Marquez more than 40 rounds to land the perfect punch, plus the help from Manny by jumping into the punch himslef ... other wise Manny has a solid chin as he got cought by huge punches before by Barrera, Morales, Cotto, Margarito ...

so here is what you need to knock out Manny:

1- an A+ counter puncher (Marquez or Mayweather).
2- very good puncher (Mayweather has glass hands that do break often + no KOs in 7 years lol)
3- Manny making the mistake of jumping into the punch as if he wants to catch it with his face.

so in reality only Marquez, and he needs about 40 rounds of counter punching and waiting for Manny to do the same mistake, AGAIN!

Totally agree with this. But I feel like Maidana doesn't really stand a chance. Maidana has had some decent fights but overall I feel He (Maidana) is a sloppy fighter

The only way Pac is going to fight him is at a catch weight. If he has the size advantage he had on Mayweather in the first fight, he will destroy Pac. I know a lot of Pac fans don't want to hear that, but Pac could never weather the storm of the first Pac Vs May fight with that disadvantage. Pin against the ropes, throwing a thousand punches would take him apart.

This would be a great fight. But really...id love to see Maidana get a couple of good wins in great fashion to amp the fight a little. Coming off two losses to a over hyped coward like Mayrunner dont hype up the fight for the casuals. If Maidana did lose... it can hurt his stock IMO. Because losing to Floyd didnt hurt him because everyone knows Floyd cheated, Paid off refs, and had padded gloves and so on. Plus he ran like a headless chicken. Would be a great as war though. You cant go wrong with a Maidana or Manny fight. Both together...wow!
