Comments Thread For: Walters: Donaire Might Get KO'd in Five Rounds or Less

Gennady Golovkin-Marco Antonio Rubio is the main event Saturday, but the best fight of the night figures to be the HBO co-feature.

Nonito Donaire and NIcholas Walters can both crack, sporting a combined 72 percent knockout ratio. Donaire appears to be on the downside, struggling with Vic Darchinyan last year before stopping him in the ninth? Walters, he made easy work of Vic, blasting him out in Round 5 this year in a KO of the Year Candidate.

Donaire lands that left hook and KOs Walters in the later rounds...

I really like Donaire to win but lately he has been falling in love too much with that left hook that all he does in the fight is to look for the left hook to land instead of setting it up.

I hope he finds a way to win though, it will be a hard fight if he is the same fighter that he was with Vetyeka, Darchinyan and Rigo.

It's going to be the best fight of the night for sure. Either Donaire gets a much needed big win or we will have a new budding star in Walters.

            I think Donaire takes it.

I'll watch some more of Walters fights later, his last fight from what I remember he looked pretty good.

Walters has the power of a MW and the reach of a HW.......he wins via KO in 3-5 rounds. Donaire underestimates this dude and he gets broken down and stopped.

This guy really believes his own hype. Starting too sound Donaire esque actually and fallen in love with his power.

Very basic, cement footed & will be leaning into that left hook all night. Expect Donaire too win and look good doing so. Walters is made for him and I don't see much outside a big punch and height.
Looks ordinary to me and pretty slow for a super featherweight.
