Outstanding Analysis: Cotto vs Martinez

I give Cotto credit, but that slow mo of round 1 actually made Sergio's legs/balance look worse to me then I originally had noticed prior to him being hurt by a punch.
I had been taking Sergio's statement that he was fine until he got hurt by a punch in round 1 with a grain of salt, but I also took it into account for crediting Cotto's victory.
In that regard the video may have been a bit counterproductive and done more a of disservice to cotto rather than its intended purpose.Comment

it was a punch, not his knee you morons. sergio LITERALLY ran across the ring to jump on cotto like in round 7 or 8. gtfoh, all you crying little beezies.Comment

Found this video of a great analysis of Miguel Cotto vs Sergio Martinez.
For those who stated in the past that the knock downs were Sergio being off balance you will clearly see you were mistaken and where Miguel's left hooks that made the damage over and over again.
Positioning, footwork, and Miguel's potent left hook did the job here. Great job by Freddy and Miguel working together with this game plan!
that was a good laugh.
Cotto also looked great against Yuri Foreman. Very similar outcome indeed.Comment

how, in the name of all that's good, did you come up with this plainly ignorant as day observation?? fight starts, guy gets hit w/ a sledge hammer left hook, victim then never recouperates.

Thats a bad comparison to begin with.
Yuri Foreman hasn't been the same after he got surgery on his knee. Same goes to Martinez when he came back the fight prior. Both of their performances post surgery were aweful and far from their primed selfs.Comment
