So you're saying it's RIGHT for Wlad, a PROFESSIONAL boxer to fight Shannon Briggs on the street? Or are you saying he should just forget about his mandatory fight with Pulev, a top HW..... forget about next years potential unification bout, and forget about potential mandatory challengers next year (and lose his belt) and fight an unranked Shannon Briggs?


Oh and before you say "bbbbut... he fought Wach and Pianeta!" I've had this dicussion with you before. Do the research yourself.... but at the time of those fights, NONE of the top 10 HW's wanted to fight Wlad. Multiple top HW's publicly rejected the opportunity and said they needed more time. Like Pulev, for example. Who Wlad wanted to fight at the time and he said on Bulgarian TV he wanted to defend his EBU title once more before fighting the champ. Briggs wasn't pulling these stunts back then or calling him out at those times.


Those few voluntary fights were stay busy fights, nothing more. NOW Wlad has bigger fish to fry and as I said in his last two fights he fought a top 3 HW, Povetkin...... a mandatory challenger (Lepai) and now another mandatory, AND top 3-5 HW (Pulev) and then after this he said he wants to unify and win the WBC title.... then he'll probably defend against his mandatory opponents to round out next year.



So now..... please. Tell me Laced, what exactly is wrong with what I'm saying?



Grow the hell up. If you see something wrong with any of this and you think he should be fighting Briggs and use the "well he fought Wach, blah blach,etc," ignoring the fact that he's faced/is facing top HW's and mandatory challengers since his last bad voluntary fight......... then maybe YOU have the penis in your mouth.

The Wach and Pianeta fights were stay busy fights because no one, I repeat no one wanted to fight Wlad at the times of those fights. The top HW's publicly rejected a potential opportunity!


Since then and by the end of this year, he would have fought TWO top 5 heavyweights..... and the only other guy was a mandatory challenger (guess he should of vacated, eh? )

Then fast forward to next year..... a unification bout is on his radar. He's fighting the best competition possible and available.


And you guys are saying he should be fighting Shannon Briggs just so you can hate on him for no reason?


The amount of hate Wlad and Floyd get on this site is absolutely pathetic. As hated as Floyd is here by some, I honestly think Wlad is hated even more.
