the being said you have to think LONG TERM as well, they can run off and take those big Paydays for 1 Fight but then what happens to them once that fight over or if they lose that fight WTF will happen with their careers

But all we can do is wait and see what Haymon has in store for his fighters but yeah right now a lot of the moves are making you say "WTF!"

Maybe all of this ties into the NBC Deal, maybe he gets that fight on Network TV if they keep pushing it back. He is the Business Man who the *** am I to question him and tell him he doesn't know WTF he is doing

I understand this viewpoint COMPLETELY. I just can't fathom how he could produce an end to these means that would be worth it, for the fighters let alone the fans.

I've seen the particulars of the NBC arrangement and on paper the money just isn't there to justify this stuff he's been doing. I hope I'm wrong, for boxing's sake because I think all he's done is **** the sport over and wasted everyone's time.

I just don't see how you can't feel uncomfortable with this man. He literally doesn't even show his face, doesn't do interviews, obviously forces his fighters to thank him after fights. These fighters are thanking Haymon BEFORE they thank GOD ffs!

I'm not saying everyone needs to think he's just straight up evil, but you have to admit his behavior is clearly on some shady shit.

Thank you Al Haymon, for stopping these fights. Making Qullin, drop his belt and career high payday for nothing. And thank you fro the great classics you have been feeding us aka Garcia vs 66th ranked light weigh Rod Salka.

Any true businessman is supposed to stay behind the scenes and play more of an anonymous role. He shouldn't be doing interviews. And he doesn't force fighters to thank him. It's the fighters themselves that thank him because usually he is the one responsible for giving them their biggest paydays. When you are a fighter who used to fight for pennies and now you're getting 6-figure paydays, you will thank him immediately unless you're ungrateful.

Haymon has been around for YEAAAARS, and you cannot find a single fighter bad mouthing the guy. Not a single one.

So if Haymon is so good how come Rihanna and Beyonce told him to GTFO? The only reason Haymon is in boxing is because he couldn't cut in the music industry so now he's bringing his shady business ethics to this sport and it hasn't worked out that well for him actually. He got booted from HBO (the number boxing network) went to Showtime and now is apparently going to go back with NBC. Though, not on HBO he is trying to get on NBC Sports what a great businessman alright, but hey, he doesn't do media interviews so he must be a genius. I mean it's not like Bill Gates, Mark Cuban and Donald Trump do interviews, it would be bad for business.

Well the Money he been able to help get for Mayweather is what people are comfortable with him. TV Dates, the Paydays for Berto when Berto was fighting Bums on HBO lol

Also because his track record and his success as a Business Man long before Boxing is what people in Business and Networks and others know him for. A man that basically forced Live Nation to buy half of his company because when Hip Hop and R&B Concerts started doing well they found out that a major reason for that was because of Haymon Promotions. Most of the Top Hip Hop Acts still work with Haymon for their Concerts/Tour

But Boxing Fans know him mostly because he is Connected to Mayweather but Haymon was doing well before working with Mayweather.

I think after seeing the money him and Mayweather been able to make, nobody is going to question him, if anything it makes fighters curious and they want to know how can they possibly one day make that type of money.

It is not about Defending Haymon but fans are not using any logic or common sense what so ever, all they see is "He Is Attached To Mayweather So He Must Bad Also!". Why are people upset that he does to Networks like HBO what they been doing to fighters FOR YEARS, EXPLOITING THEM! He makes sure that those networks take care of their fighters and compensate them, what exactly is wrong with that?

Yes Networks and other Promoters hate Smart and Savvy Managers because Smart and Savvy Managers you have to open the books with them, you can't do what Don King did to Tyson when you have a Managers like Haymon or even Cameron Dunkin guys who know WTF they're doing and are not push overs looking to make a fast buck for themselves and their fighters
